Access for every member.
GreekStack is the white-label platform that powers fraternity and sorority chapter sites. We hold ourselves, and every chapter site we generate, to WCAG 2.2 AA. This page states where the platform stands, what ships in every generated site, and how to report a barrier. Effective September 2026.
Our conformance status
The GreekStack platform is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means some parts of the content do not yet fully conform. Accessibility remediation is scheduled, public work: each fix lands as a small tested slice, and this statement is updated as classes of barriers close.
What ships in every site
- Skip link plus main landmark: every page offers “Skip to main content” into a single labelled main region, so keyboard and screen-reader users bypass repeated navigation.
- 44-pixel target floor: links and buttons, including icon-only dismiss and toggle controls, meet a 44px minimum size.
- Announced outcomes: form validation errors and async failures (billing, dues, applications, admin tools) are exposed through assertive or polite live regions, never by icon or color alone.
- Reduced motion honored: site CSS disables non-essential animation when the visitor sets prefers-reduced-motion.
Known limits
Full-page error boundaries identify themselves with a heading; moving focus onto that heading on arrival is the next scheduled focus-management pass. Some older admin and onboarding flows predate the current labelling bar and are being renamed control by control. Third-party embeds (payment, maps, chat) carry their vendor's accessibility behavior; where an embed blocks a task, the report below gets a workaround or an alternative path first.
Report a barrier
Reach us through our contact form with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the technology you use (for example, VoiceOver on iPhone, NVDA on Windows, keyboard only, or voice control).
We aim to acknowledge barrier reports within two business days and to fix blocking barriers first.
