GreekStack vs Greek Connect
The honest version. Each row says what the other platform does well and backs it up, where pricing or features can’t be verified from the vendor’s own public pages, it says “contact the vendor” instead of guessing.
| Capability | GreekStack | Greek Connect |
|---|---|---|
| Platform pricing model | Three honest plans: $1,000/year or $25/week (zero platform percentage on everything), or dues-sharing ($25 one-time, then 5% of dues, Support your chapter giving, vendor payments, and brother web-app ticket purchases, and 10% of external public ticket sales). $0 per-seat fees.Advantage | Contact vendor: their pricing isn't published in a first-party source we can cite. |
| Dues collection | Online dues via Stripe with live paid/unpaid ledgers. Web-only: dues are never collected inside the mobile app. | Contact vendor: not published publicly. |
| Event management | Events with ticketing, QR codes, door scanning (works offline), RSVPs, plus Apple Wallet passes (activates with your Apple Pass Type ID certificate). | Contact vendor: not published publicly. |
| Member engagement | Chapter feed, announcements, and messaging built into the chapter platform. | Contact vendor: not published publicly. |
| Treasury & budgets | Treasury tracking, budgets, and reconciliation alongside dues. | Contact vendor: not published publicly. |
| Alumni relations | Alumni directory, giving, and events. Alumni access is free on every plan. | Contact vendor: not published publicly. |
| Chapter website included | Fully branded chapter site on your own subdomain, live the day you sign up. | Contact vendor: not published publicly. |
| Google sign-in required | No. Zero Google auth anywhere in GreekStack. | Contact vendor: not published publicly. |
Where Greek Connect wins
We’ll say it plainly: if your chapter is deeply embedded in Greek Connect and the whole e-board is happy, switching has a cost: retraining, migration, a semester of friction. GreekStack earns the switch on one axis: a modern dues engine with transparent pricing and a site that members actually open. If that’s not your pain, you don’t need us.
